Introducing changes in firmware 1.5.0 for the SPARK MAX enabling two major new features: Alternate Encoder capability and our USB-to-CAN Bridge.
This allows teams to:
– Reconfigure the Data Port to accommodate an alternate encoder in both Brushed and Brushless modes.
– Use a single USB-connected SPARK MAX to configure and simultaneously update all SPARK MAXs on the CAN bus.
You must install the latest SPARK MAX Client Application before updating to firmware version 1.5.0.
